There will be jamming tomorrow night. I am pumped. The Allmans and the
Dead have a lot in common. Specifically - they jam, therefore they are.

I got two words for ya. Derek Trucks. And another two words for ya.
Warren Haynes. Not to mention Greg Allman...

P-Dub: Anyone else going?

I'm going to see them in DC on Friday. I know Doug T. is going that
night, too.

Please let us know how long the set(s) last(s) on Thursday. I'm
hoping there are 2 sets, since I'm gong to be running real late on
Friday.

Enjoy!

I'm going friday night in DC. I didn't know the Philly show was at
the Tower, that's pretty cool-they're playing DAR Constitution Hall
here which is a beautiful old opera hall with some of the best
acoustics in town, it should be fun.

I love DAR, but sometimes the acoustics can be horrid, esp. for a loud
band. Hopefully they figure it out tomorow.

In article <ilcld6p9e3ln4bslv...@4ax.com>,

Yeah - The sound in DAR is usually pretty terrible, unless you're in
the sweet spot on the floor. Be prepared to stand in long lines
for drinks, too.

Tickets are still around for all or most shows including the Two for
Woody. I'm probably going to go to AC on Saturday Night. The casinos
are actually cool places to see concerts, no hassles.

I saw Belle and Sebastian there last month-which was my first there
since Copeland/Anastasio/Claypool 7or 8 years ago- and the sound was
better than pretty much any music I've seen in DC for a while-way
better than Richard Thompson at 930 for example. We did move a few
times before finding the optimal spot but now I know where one is-if
it stays the same from show to show...

That looks like a few good shows there. Tell me they ain't gonna mix
it for those nights!

I guess I am gonna thry for the Roseland Ballroom Show.
There is something about an indoor general admission Allman Brothers
Show.
That has to be one of my favorites places to see a show.
If you have never been there before it might be hard to explain.
They have one helluva bathroom!!!
