The Chicago Transit Authority WAS their original name,

Later the CTA became the RTA and Metra.

Last fall for the first series of the MSG shows, there was a large
contingent of net-heads seated in the same area, somewhere around 10-12 of
us. Mailorders were sent from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and
Hawaii, someone must be keeping tabs on us.

Sorry to burst your bubble Mel, but I think that the realistic realization
is that Mel was lucky. I don't think that any kindness toward you was
specifically intended when the person at GDTS stuffed the 5th row tickets
into your SASE.

You mean the one time GDTS sent me front row
center (MSG 88), it wasn't an investment in my
good will? They knew, somehow, that I'd step off
the bus within a few years? Just dumb luck?

Or maybe they *knew* about the asshole who
would puke all over the seats in the front row
during "Louie Louie"...

I'm sorry Mitch, I thought y'all were teeny boppers contemplating

I don't know that I'd call it luck. As I remeber, that
was the worst show I'd seen in years (the only 88 MSG show
which included a Louie, Louie - the Tuesday, don't rememebr
the date) I do remember that it was Yom Kippur tho.
Which is weird, cause my only front row ticket to a
show was on Kol Nidre at MSG in 1993.
