Invasion terrors!
...I had to laugh at that -- I remember being 10 or 12 years old and watching the original 1956 IOTBS one Saturday afternoon. I was so utterly terrified I could not sleep for two or three days, drove my parents crazy trying to get them to leave town, and earned the contempt of my baby brother who kept throwing globs of seaweed at me.... more »

Camille Paglia
"I was irritated by the adulation given Laurie Anderson, with her cutesy postmodernist game playing, and I often protested that, as a performance artist, Kate Bush had infinitely more depth and vision." ** Well I'd buy "exponentially". But certainly not "infinitely". Her response reads a lot like "Dude! I've been saying for years that Black Sabbath is infinitely more awesome than Metallica."... more »

setting up sprint
to L.H's, It's time. From the apex of the ramp "go-go-go", run as fast & hard as you can this is the most important part & tiring you will only have to sustain it until you rail into the bend. It will feel like being pulled from behind by a pulley this is to build your strength for the sprint whatever you do DO NOT STOP AT THIS POINT & UNTIL YOU MAKE IT TO THE BEGINNING OF THE BEND. Where you hit & get into the groove on the curve you as you come out of it you will see the straight like a tunnel. From there your steps are laid out & it's just a matter of keeping up with your legs, heart and breathing, (this is what you are training here). Your telescope vision propels you forward the gravity of the water supports you. The last 60 metres will feel like walking on water as you run through surges of time. Each time will be & get faster.... more »

To L.h's, & what are his views on Islam? The Dalai Lama does have the face of an evil spirit it has been indicated for several years in films I thought it was the Ying of all Yang but turns out it was my first instinct as usual. Peter Pan steals the kids in Kensington Park
Here's a Google Maps travelogue photo-mashup I made from some photographs from a trip to London a few months back. Of particular note to Kate Bush fans in the statue of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens. I made a special trip to Kensington Gardens just to see it and it took me hours to locate as it's a rather large park!... more »
