Ummm, no. Since Hitler's entire plan was that there was an uber-race,
and anyone who didn't belong to it should be exterminated like
cockroaches, I think that "prejuciced" does not adequatately capture
that.
Besides, most of the Jews I know are atheists. Religion and race are
often only happenstancely related to these issues, while cultural
differences, on the other hand, have *everything* to do with it. And,
as I have pointed out several times now, the word for prejudice based on
culture is "racism", despite the look of the word.
If you want a language that makes more sense than English, move to

I haven't expressed any opinion on Bill. I was making a general
assertion that prejudice against Muslims can most certainly be typically
classified as racism, since the prejudice isn't usually against the
religion, per se, so much as the culture.

Is there a "Christian civilization"? I don't think so, as Christianity
has been evangelized very successfully to many diverse cultures. There
*is* a Western civilization rooted in Christianity and Judaism, and
therefore one could be racist against Westerners. There is also an
Islam civilization, so likewise, one can be racist against this
civilization.
And even if there is no Islam civilization, us Westerners perceive their
to be one, and consequently "classify together" Muslims on "the basis of
common history, nationality, or geographic distribution". Therefore,
prejudice based on that perception is racism.
You don't like it -- take it up with Houghto Mifflin.
