You don't really have to worry about a massive influx of spam. *Every*
person who posts to the mailing list has to be manually approved by me.

Google's software occasionally messes up and lets someone post before I
approve them or ban them as a spammer, but I currently see about 100X the
amount of spam that you do!

So, you're saying that you approved the spammer. Got it.

|>ougie, i already have a massive influx of spam. I would say that at least 70% of my e-mail is from people i've never heard of who want my money, and my ISP's spam filter, filters out exactly none of them.

It's ok, though, i don't care, spam away Ms Saeed. I wish you well. We all have to make a living and there's something about shafting the gullible that appeals to me ;o)

No, what I said--if you had bothered to read it--is that Google's software
*occasionally* fucks up.

P.S. When it does so, it typically lets a *single* message from the offender
through, before that offender is permanently banned. 99% of the time,
however, posts from newcomers are correctly held for approval by the Google
Group software.

There you go...blaming someone else.

Believe it or not, Google is sometimes fallible, even though I am not.

This is the 21st century, Don. Attributing blame is the art form.

To whom do I attribute the blame that everyone around here is a wise-ass?
