==== Hogbottom 2012 Rasied $ For Veterans =====

This just in from Dave, founder of Hogbottom:

"...It's hard to believe but, against all gloomy forecasts we got
through our 7th Annual Hog Bottom with no rain! I am afraid the odds
are stacking against us and one year we will get wet but, not this
year! To all those dear friends and family that made generous
donations, helped with the gate, cooked, served food, sold active
wear, cleaned-up, parked cars, played music, helped to spread the
word, and or in any way helped with this year's event, THANK YOU!
Also, to those of you that thought twice when you saw my number pop up
on your phones in those weeks leading up to Hog Bottom, THANK YOU for
answering! Even with rain in the forecast, we had around 700 in
attendance but, more importantly, we cleared $10,355.00 for the House
of Heroes! This will allow us to sponsor at least six and almost seven
houses of our needy military and public service veterans. What a
great way to offer our appreciation for their sacrifices to ensure our
safety and freedom!Plans are already underway for Hog Bottom 8 and I
invite any thoughts you may have for changes or improvements. The
exact date hasn't been set but, expect late April again next year. I
look forward to seeing you there!"

Indeed... on to Hogbottom 2013!
