Jimmy MacCarthy is an Irish songwriter.

His most recent CD is  Hey-Ho Believe  .   If you have
heard it, what do you think of it?

I relate his older song  Bright Blue Rose to my blue
rose vision of Sept. 6, 1991, described on my
Salmon on the Thorns web page (see below) in
the second entry in the Biography/mystic experiences
section.   (There is a discussion of the creation
of the song on his web page.)
