Recently noticed that there's a documentary film being made
about Chris Strachwitz, founder of Arhoolie Records, and the
producers have started a kickstarter campaign to get it finished.
There's a five minute trailer featuring interview comments by
Richard Thompson, Bonnie Raitt and Ry Cooder, along with
Chris Strachwitz himself at http://kck.st/KX49tq
If you love and care about American roots music, and like me,
would really like to see this film [pledging just $25 will get you
a download of the finished film], please give the filmmakers a
hand to reach their $25,000 goal.
