in addition to the old motzarella newsgroup reader and the old aioe.org
newsgroup reader. It's now here, and it seems to be working. I'm
sending an email via it on general principles.

2) Click USER REGISTRATION (on the left column)
3) Fill in
First Name
Last Name
Email
User ID (make this up; if there's already a person of that name
registered there, you may have to make several trie)
Transcribe the Captcha (those funny, tilted letters and numbers)

more about Captcha)
Click REGISTER
4) You will get a screen telling you that you're registered and "Please
configure your newsreader to access."
5) Go to your newsreader and tell it to look for newsgroups at
news.eternal-september.org on Port 119. I see by View: ALL that you're
using Outlook Express. :-/ Do you know how to do the next part of
this yourself, or should I ask someone else more familiar with Outlook
Express to guide you through it?

6) You will get an email assigning you a random password and telling you
how to change it if you wish to.
