The best place for this would be rec.music.filk -- to which I'm
redirecting this.

You may also want to track down the "science fiction references in
popular music" document, which covers the many non-filk songs which
refer to topics related to science fiction and/or fantasy. It was huge
ten years ago; if anyone is still maintaining it I presume it's gigantic
by now since so much of modern life includes things that we would have
considered science fiction just a few years ago.

Good luck. Have fun.

There is also 19+ years of printed published sf music here:
http://thestarport.com/xeno/

the problem is that it is printed. if you allow printed material then
we can seriously load you up. Most printed only sites would object to
their material going to the web.

There have been indexes of such songs as well.
Is the original sender getting these messages?

I know of two songbook indexes from the early 90s. I recently scanned
one of them into the computer and need to make sure Gary gets it for
his index.
