I'm back! um.. where'd everybody go?

Okay, this is depressing. I was probably last on Usenet in the early
'aughts. Things were still pretty active in my various groups.
I was very excited to find a free provider, and get Agent set up
again, only to find.. everybody's gone.
Ah well, such is the way of technology. Sometimes the best solution to
a problem dies away because of flashier technology.
Anyway, hope there are still some of my old IU friends here. If not,
they're probably Facebook friends.

I still read the group, although it hasn't been very lively. There
was a recent exchange around Baroque continuo instrumentation. More
often it's been announcements.
I'm still keeping discographies and other resources current at the
FAQ, updating people's links when they come to me (but not seeking),
etc. I have not been developing new EM resources lately, though.

medieval.org very valuable.
Apart from that, I do wonder where people go nowadays for online
discussions of EM. Is it all blogs and comments, and if so, what blogs?

True--most of the Usenet groups I used to read are moribund :-/
