Hi: Of the eight "Ivy League" schools (Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University), which--if any--are more likely to be favorable for a PhD application in string pedagogy. [Thesis something like: A Comparison of String Pedagogies: Shinichi Suzuki, Carl Flesch, Leopold Auer]

And are there other schools where a thesis of this type might be encouraged?

TIA
