I come bearing bad news for those who listen to my show on WSIA 88.9
FM and ww.wsia.fm. You see, during the production of editing songs
into the recap portion of the Wacked-Out 40 of 2009, I had a little
confrotation with the production staff at my station. When certain CDs
were reported missing, they suggested alterations. Due to pressure to
put this out in time, I got angry and told them "Fuck your
Alterations!". Sadly, word got around to the Program director and as
of today, I'm currently on another two-week suspension from on-air
duties at WSIA.
While I'll regain access to my normal emphasis show, "A-Log's
Alternative", sadly "A-Log on the Airwaves" is on an indefinate
suspension until further notice. Expect the following this year, if
this goes long:
- The Wacked-Out 40 might be filled with more holiday songs than new
and older songs.
- Several topics might either be moved or canceled (which leaves the
once a month tribute to the weirdness of the past decade in doubt)
- Many complaints from you the listener
- Chart continuity down the drain
I'm sorry that I have to start of the new year with this sad piece of
news. But unlike a certain individual from Ruckersville, I know it was
all my fault, and I have no other choice but to face the consequences
from you, the presumably angry listener, future radio stations who
might take background checks, and those who still think I'd be better
off on the Internet due to the fact that I have no idea how to make a
Podcast on a PC and how to time it in a 3-hour format.
So once again, A-Log on the Airwaves will be forced onto an hiatus
because of my idiocy. I'm truly, truly sorry for messing this up. May
Dr. Demento forgive me for this.
Stay Weird (for a little while),
Anthony "A-Log" LoGatto
