Friday's release of The Dark Knight puts Batman back on the big
screen. As for Robin, he's tragically been left in the closet once
again. But will WE ever forget about the Boy Wonder? Golly gee no,
Batman!

Robert Lund's latest contribution to the Funny Music Project is a
tribute to BOTH members of the Dynamic Duo, via a parody of the
Eagles' "Life in the Fast Lane." It's called, of course, "Life in the
Bat Cave." Lyrics, free download link, etc., here:

Meanwhile, the lovely and talented Dr. Demento is opening his show
with it tonight, so be sure to tune in!

This was on "Robert's Basement" which I had bought already. But I
think that this version sounds a little better. Was it remixed?

The main difference is that the sound byte from the TV series has been
removed and a couple of spoken lines (one each for Batman and Robin)
have been added. Beyond that, Robert says the EQ levels are likely
different and he thinks that one version or the other was put through
an exciter. Hope that helps.

Incidentally, I don't know what an exciter is but I'm tempted to buy
one for personal use.
