Rob is one of the 2 Finalist to represent Australia. Here is some
information on Rob.
Rob has a tremendous amount of career achievements to his name including the
following features to name a few:
*He is 1 of 3 Grand Finalists in the National Golden Saddle Award. The
winner will be announced at the Galston Country Music Festival on September
12th.
*He is 1 of 7 finalists in the International "World's First Future Star"
competition. He is 1 of only 2 Australian Artists to make the finals. This
competition is judged by Country Music DJs & their listeners from around the
world with a winner to be announced soon.
*He was the lead vocalist of "Golden Guitar" nominees "Shot To Pieces", who
were signed to Festival Records in the mid 90s. He was also a "Toyota
Starmaker" Grand Finalist in 1996.
*His vocal harmony skills are in high demand throughout the Industry &
feature on many professional recordings for artists such as Bill Chambers,
Neville Anderson, Josh Canning, Sandra Humphries & Alby Pool.
*Along with Alby Pool, Bruce McCumstie & Donella Plane, he is the co-host of
the popular weekly Hunter Valley Country Music show "The Horseshoe Bend
Roundup".
*Rob is currently sitting at #19 on the Worldwide Mainstream "Most Played
"Major & Indie" Artists Charts", having recently made history in June '04 as
the first ever Australian artist to top these International Airplay charts.
Based in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Rob performs with his band featuring some
of Country Music's finest musicians & is well known as always giving 100% to
every performance he makes. Rob is appearing at Venues & Festivals around
Australia throughout 2004; while 2005 & 2006 will see Rob extending his
schedule to also include tours of New Zealand, Europe & USA to promote his
albums.
