Highwoods Stringband Reunion - Trumansburg, NY, 7 PM, 5-3-2008

Hi all -

There are still a few tickets for this exciting event. It will take
place at the Rongovian Embassy (Trumansburg, NY), on May 3, 2008 at 7
PM. Go to www.rongo.com for info about ticker ordering, etc. Tickets
are $15.

Kellie,

Considering the age of those of us who saw the Highwoods SB in its
heyday, "ticker ordering" is probably fairly apropos.

I think what she meant was that you are supposed to be ordering
supplies for the ticker-tape parade they're planning. Of course, now
that brokers no longer use ticker tape, they have to throw their
monitors out the window.

Well, anyway. Pete and I had a great time. It was a really fun event,
no fights broke out (although I was sorely tempted at one point). The
place was packed, the music was excellent, and everyone had a great
time. I feel like throwing a ticker tape parade every day when I
contemplate my good fortune in being able to play music with Walt (and
Clare and Pete) on a regular basis.
