I have finally finished my web page on Jig Dolls (aka Limberjacks) -
probably covering every thing anyone ever wanted to know about them,
or didn't want to know.

Anyway please see:

http://chrisbrady.itgo.com/jigdolls/jigdolls.htm

Feedback would be welcome.

Also if anyone has photos of same (or maybe video clips) then they too
would be gratefully received.

Thanks - Chris B.

A very nice and informative site, devoted to just the right sort of
subject -- something that 'most everybody will be familiar with but
not know a great deal about -- and fun to visit.

I guess that means the jig is up.

There are several old-time songs based on limberjacks, can't remember
all the details but one song is Limber Jim.

I'm not familiar with "Limber Jim," but songs like "Limber Leg Blues"
have nothing to do with limberjacks. That song refers to a victim of
the Jake Leg.

I vaguely remember one titled "He's a limberjack and he's OK".
