David Bass needs heart and lung transplant

Hi, for everyone who's been following the story of David Bass's
illness:
I just want to get the word out that David now needs both a new heart
and new lungs; the short version of the story is this--since his heart
doesn't pump properly, he has abnormally high pressure in his lungs
which a new healthy heart could not tolerate. There are no other
options to bring those lung pressures down enough to transplant a
heart alone. He's still in Durham, NC, at Duke Univ. Hospital.
Hopefully David will get some new organs in the next month, a feasible
thing since he is very sick and very high priority.
And a big THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us, sent money, gotten
involved in Fiddleaid and kept us in your thoughts. Thank you thank
