here's the broinc.com listing:

Mozart, Piano Concerto #27 [two 'live' performances by Wilhelm Backhaus
and Karl Bohm conducting the Vienna Philharmonic. Rec. 1/29/56 and
8/2/60]. Beethoven, Piano Concerto #4 [two 'live' Wilhelm Backhaus
performances: w.New York Philharmonic/ Guido Cantelli, 3/18/56; w.Vienna
Philharmonic/ Hans Knappertsbusch, 1/17/56]; Piano Concerto #5
'Emperor'. (Three 'live' Wilhelm Backhaus performances: w.Stuttgart
Radio Orchestra/ Joseph Keilberth, 3/17/53; w.Leipzig Gewandhaus
Orchestra/ Franz Konwitschny, 4/20/60; w.Swiss-Italian Radio Orchestra/
Carl Schuricht, 4/27/61)

I haven't listened to mine yet, but I can suggest right off that
the date given for the Kna performance is off by a digit, and is
not 1956 or as the back of the Memories case says 1957, but really
17/January/1954 which is on a number of labels, as is the Cantelli
performance. Or did Knappertsbutsch/Backhaus/Vienna really play a
live performance of the 4th concerto on 1/17/54, 1/17/56 and
1/17/57, spurring my completist urge to look for a 1/17/55.

The other 6 performances are unfamiliar to me.

I think the 1956 Mozart with Bohm was also released on a London Decca
cd which I have , paired with the Brahms 2nd Concerto from 1967.Both
are excellent. The Beethoven 4th live with Knappertsbusch is also on
YouTube, again wonderful. The 1961 "Emperor" with Schuricht I have not
heard, but is thought by some to be Backhaus' best concerto
performance period. Good choice.

Excuse me, it's the 5 other performances that are unfamiliar
to me as I miscounted 8 performances when there are 7.
Unfortunately, the first disc with Knappertsbusch on the
Beethoven 4th is flawed, sourced from a bad tape of something,
with flutter off and on, especially for a few seconds at 2:30
into the first movement, and 1:05 into the second movement.
I don't recollect such noises with the other CDs I have of
the Jan 17, 1954 performance, for example the Living Stage
CDs which I just checked comparing the snippets in question.
I'll have to hear another day whether the three other CDs are
good.

The other concertos don't have the irritating tape (or whatever
it is) problems that the Knap/LvB4th/1954 has but I found an additional
contradiction in the program listing on the back of the case:
Memories MR2198/2201 gives a date of 17/March/1953 for Keilberth
(SWR-RSO Stuttgart) conducting the Beethoven 5th concerto but my
Living Stage LS 1001 gives that date to Knappertsbusch (Berliner
Philharmoniker) to the same concerto with Backhaus.
