For the first time in more than 13 years, WRTI-FM (90.3) will
broadcast the Philadelphia orchestra live on Friday afternoon.
Nezet-Seguin leads the orchestra in works by Schumann, Janacek and
Dvorak and violinist Gil Sheham will perform the Brahms Violin
Concerto. The 2 PM concert will be dedicated to Wolfgang Sawallisch
who died in February and opens with the Adagio espressivo from the
Symphony 2 by Schumann, a particular favorite of the late music
