Is anyone familiar with these two symphonies, recently issued on
Lyrita? What are they like? How do they compare with Alwyn, for
example?
I don't know this recording, but have Douglas Bostock's recording on
Classico. This is good music. If you like Alwyn, there's room in your
tastes for Jacob.

I would, but he's already recorded it some years ago.

It looks as though Lindberg has recorded the Bourgeois concerto at least
twice, once in its orchestral guise (above, on BIS) and once with wind band:
