It is NOT that STEREO recording, which we can buy all over the world.
These recordings were made between 1950-1954. I live in Munich,
Germany. I can send them worldwide.
Please contact me "bgb_...@hotmail.de", if you have interesst.
The price is 159 Pounds, 189 Euro or 239 USD.
I have interesst, but not from you, I'm afraid.
Why only Italians (and, until recently, Japanese - HMV Japan still had
POCL-3471-78 in stock not that long ago) were vouchsafed this cycle is
a mystery to me. Another of Universal Music's 'brilliant' decisions.
Now, with the internet, there's no good reason why Decca can't sell it
in their webshop.

Hahahahahahaha!

Ditto, and the same for a whole slew of deleted items and items never
issued internationally.
How about the recently discussed Dutch Master series, and Philips "The
Early Years" recordings?
But that may be coming.
They sell the mono Gulda Beethoven box there now for example. And I
recall trying to get that box from their service a few months ago and
it was not available.
But then again, you generally do not get the liner notes that way.
Imagine if they reissued the Arrau Heritage Edition as a download. f
you got the download, you would totally miss out on Tom Deacon's
essays in each box.
They get a mouthpiece on their nose?

This you call "available"?

Hmm, maybe there's an advantage to sales via download that I hadn't
previously considered.

All at ridiculous, inflated prices. I won a copy of #16-26 on eBay
yesterday; it'll have to be something pretty special to warrant
purchase of the rest of the sonatas.

7180 Rupees does not look like *ridiculous, inflated* prices.
Maybe you are used to buy stuff cheaper.
The price in Euros is 121 - for 9 discs this is rather cheap.
Whatever: it is available.
