Sorry for any incovenience.

The first two waltzes remind me vaguely of Adam Harasiewicz. I don't
have this CD. Perhaps it is worth looking into ...

It's been a while since I've heard Harasiewicz, but my memory is that
he wasn't this good of a pianist. Also, the sound is frankly modern.
Does the piano sound like a possible Yamaha to you, at least in some
of the waltzes?
Best,
MrT
None of the waltzes 1 through 7 sound to me like Yamaha.
Not to mention the probability would be small indeed.
The vast majority of Chopin Waltzes recordings on the
market were played on Steinways, with just a handful on
Boesendorfer, Bechstein (Lipatti), Pleyel and Gaveau. I'd
be surprised if there are even 3 recordings on Yamaha.
Don't forget these are doctored recordings. Everything
is possible ;-)

It was the effect of the equipment I listened on the first time. A
metallic hint, a cranking of mechanism. I don't hear it anymore with
the good equipoment and the Sennheisers.
Best,
MrT
