Many thanks, Rob.

Not to look it in the mouth, but they seem to have given you the CD #3
listing twice, and the #4 not at all.

Peculiar that they only included a selection of the Transcendental
Etudes (seven of them), and those from the mono set. Maybe on CD #4...

There are the Schubert/Liszt selections, as I predicted. He seems to have
recorded those (in slightly different groupings) about a gazillion times.

So whahoppen to the Partshaladze Piano Concerto? (And did the composer
ever "pay" Berman by treating him to dinner, as promised?)

Thanks for that, Rob.

So they managed to put this together without a complete set of the
Transcendentals; let alone anything from the highly unavailable later
set (which btw would not have had to be digitized afresh). Remarkable.

If their dates are right, they also didn't use the mono performances
that appear in the BMG Russian Piano School series; possibly Hungaroton
stuff instead, which could be interesting.

I'm pleased to see they included what must be the Melodiya D. 960
(everyone else lists it as recorded in 1978). I wonder if Brilliant in
fact did their own transfer for this. I don't think it's been on CD
previously...
