I had the opportunity to meet Don one afternoon. Real nice man, and a
helluva player too. It was my pleasure.

Sorry--I guess my e-mail is screwed up again. Try re-sending to
denta...@earthlink.net. I hope to see you Saturday (at the concert--I
can't make the master class).
Steve
Personally, I was offended that no one from Abu Dhabi showed up.

Please make the masterclass, I'm playing in it!! I'm going last so you
could show up around 5:30 pm.
I know, I'm asking for too much :(

There's gonna have to be some negotiations, ya know, wid da missus.
I'm working until about 2, and if she has no appointments, I may be able
to swing it. I may not know until Saturday, though. I'd love to hear
you play live!

Bring a camera. More pictures. That is cool to see RMCG folks hugging.
What a nice change.

Easy for you to say!

...and be. It's just perfect today sitting in the sun reading the paper.
It's nice to see how much the value of my house went up last year. Median
price in this county is almost 1/2 million!
I wonder why? :-)
I'm wearing out my wool ski-cap!!!
jw
I just came in from sitting in the sun because it got a tad too warm for me.
Hmmmmm... feels nice.
.. not to rub it in of course... but, it sure is a nice day today.
Hey, Larry, maybe you can gather up a big handful of that warm weather and
pitch it this-a-way. Might warm things up around here a micro-degree or
two!
:-)
Maybe reading this will help to cool you down out there:
(from NY Times web site) CURRENT CONDITIONS
New York, NY: Partly Sunny and 19蚌 (-7蚓)
Humidity: 34% Barometer: 29 in Wind: 22 mph WNW Visibility: NA
[btw, wind chill makes it feel like 4F.]
Forecast for tomorrow and Sunday just about the same - though there's talk
of snow for Sun.....
Hurry up with that pitch!...
jw
All I can say is thank goodness it cools off so quickly towards evening or
I'd have to turn the heat down on my spa..
Ever try working a crossword puzzle, drinking a scotch, and keeping your
feet in front of the jet just right? And they think they've got problems in
NY.
Sam
And you too, Sam, can help out with a pitch. (every micro-degree helps!)
How's your throwing arm?....think ya' can get it over the Rockies?
jw
me suck 'em all up... me in cold (5 above frigidity) and fresh
snowfall.... me wanna scotch (only one malt pleeze) to be a survival,

Well, I'll tell ya' what, John. Last week we had the kind of temps. you're
describin' here. So, whatt'd I do?...Well, I took big heaping handfuls of
the stuff and pitched 'it up north ...kinda' in your direction. Looks like
it worked! We're a little warmer and you're a little colder. I guess you
can blame me.
BTW, How many wool ski-caps do you wear out per season?....
jw
Darn!
jw
Cool.. Kirsti and I are looking forward. . It's good to get out after so
many years with very young ones .I hope to be a part of NYCGS oneday. Did
you know for the first time in tens years I can actually practice the
guitar and think about it. Everyone is out of diapers and can use the
bathroom themselves and now your telling me I can have seat and a glass of
wine at a great concert . YES.

Thank you, John. Next time I cross the border nothing more than 'tuques'
will trip across my tongue!

Why do I have this strange feeling that this article of clothing is
not spelled differently?
Like how many tokhes you wear out each winter?

Hey, it's Canada, MO, eh?
Say no more.
jw
This Canadian says... toque.
And it's very un manly to wear one unless it's at least minus 10. Women can
wear one at the first sign of frost, but women can manage to look great in
anything.
Brian
Well, thank you, Brian. Now, when next I cross the border and I'm asked "Do
you have anything to declare?" I can confidently say "Yes, I declare that
the ski-cap on your head is starting to look an awful lot like a toque!"....

Well, just try and tell that one to the ever growing numbers in these parts
sporting one...(actually if we're counting wind-chill, then I'm pretty sure
it's been at least minus ten for quite some time now...sure seems that
way...)

Or nothing..... ;-)
Ooops!.... I'd better head for the border, or at least, the hills!.... If
this doesn't get good 'ol S. out of the RMCG retirement home and onto the
'ol warpath, nothin' will!
jw
They seem to also be acceptable with the "how stupid can I look" set this
season at any temperature as long as they are a) not covering any part of
your ear b) displaying the Toronto Maple Leaf logo.

Sounds like a line in a bad romance novel: "she was at my door wearing
nothing but her togue."
Cheers
