In a way SirMixMasterMike, you did, that's why you are here not there. But don't worry. Purgatory ain't a bad place. They'll let you back into heaven when you are ready to accept uknowho as your lord.

Steve are you saying the RMCG is hell? Yes, I would agree with you
especially after reading that 599 long post about nothin.

It should take the form of a blues lyric.
I got banned from delcamp; they told me "ferme la bouche".

I don't miss delcamp much; the moderator is such a douche.

It feels much better when you just stop posting. I didn't
stick around until they fired me. I found the
moderators insufferable. The totally incompetent deserve
civility, but not respect. The blind lead the
blind, and the outcome is enforced mediocrity.
I found a few years later that I was missed a little,
by some anyway. Trust me, there's nothing there. There
were some others here banned too. You are not alone

James Lister, seems to have a Royal British hair stuck up his but
about me, and he hasn't been able to pull it out, because I questioned
his use of glorified Elmers glue to use for the making of his guitars.
He thinks it's just dandy.
Lister is also the leader of the novice first time guitar makers club,
and a Moderator. One thing you CAN'T do is question a moderators
word.
George Sprocket, Geoff B, also also a couple of smug pucks, they
should be put out to pasture. Geoff B, who knows diddly squat about
guitar making told me James was right to tell his little proteges to
use Elmers.
I had a run of almost two years on delcamp if you can believe that,
for someone like me, ha ha ha!
Oh and they don't like it if you bring up astrology and guitarmaking.

Mostly because you only feel a little suicidal. I hate to bring this up but your topic was hidden because it was flagged as being abusive. Please don't kill yourself! This is a new feature available only on the new GG interface.
The good news is that some people thought that it had some redeeming value and voted it non-abusive and it's no longer hidden. All better now?

Like everyone else, I don't like change much. The new interface integrates GG with G**gle's new social network and has an enriched newsgroup format. You can choose to include photos and links and other things in a post. You can also flag and vote to retain or delete posts from the archives.
It also might be that G**gle may no longer be relaying posts made on it's domain to NNTP servers i.e., this post will not go out to the Usenet servers. You can get messages from Usenet but they're not going to see any response posted here.
There's two flavors of the new GG. One is made for desktops and the other is for mobile devices. I'm using the new desktop interface to post this. The mobile interface is a little harder to navigate and there doesn't seem to be any way to quote the original message. My feeling is that you should be able to quote the message you're responding to but it's a good idea to discard all the other previous levels on a mobile environment.
As it goes, it's hard to work in the mobile interface but it may be the future of GG. I guess we'll be seeing shorter posts here in the future. That's not a bad deal. :-)

Ouch? You're absolutely right about that. Nothing can be done about this.

I just see the same old thing..... am I missing something?
