Something wrong with the link! Do you mean her newest CD "Forty
Degrees North" ? If so, it looks very interesting with good mix of
eastern and western composers. She played 4 different guitars on that
CD, by the way: Smallman, Fleta, Ramirez Elite, and Micheal Gee. I
gotta have this CD.
Cheers,

John

I'll probably get it too. Sounds a little Yo-Yo Silk Road-ey to me. I
understand the inclination to combine some local flavor (Chinese
composers), and more familiar fare. She does break it up with Stephan
Goss, about whom I know nothing.

She got one flying-color review on Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/40-Degrees-North-Isaac-Albeniz/dp/B00151HZ10/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1210948316&sr=8-3

Gotta find something else to add into the purchase for free shipping.
I'm cheap, hehe!

John

I think it's (sic) "aweful" in the sense David meant.

Sign up for their free shipping program. I think I paid $50 a year and I get
free second day shipping on all purchases on Amazon. It paid for itself in a
couple weeks.

Is the Goss interesting?

Hi
Stephen Goss is a member of the British guitar quartet Tetra, who have
been recording since before 1990 - he teaches at the University of
Sussex, if I remember correctly, I meet him at the Dundee (Scotland)
guitar festival, and he is also a busy composer of music
for the guitar. Xuefei Yang offered me her Smallman guitar when she was
teaching at the City of Derry guitar festival last year (a lot heavier
than I expected1!) and she also played a concert (at short notice).
I'll be sure to get her new CD.
