Thanks for posting this, Alain. Although "modern music" isn't my usual
cup of tea, I like and admire the way Delpriora writes and plays.

Same here ... I wish I had the time to make it grow on/in me by playing it often ("the modern music")... it's like a treasure map drawn by a kid with traps awaiting you on the way to the X treasure marks ... the zapper, the flat screen, and the home made popcorn ... the money making, the decrepitude of aging, and not knowing the day we die ... holding two dices in one hand, who can predict the double 6? And ... if it happens that one does actualize his'her prediction ... does it makes him/her a demurrer of time?

This recording is extraordinarily good ... it serves the music superbly and place it in the treasure grove it needs to be in!

If the lute were untuned randomly and the Weiss piece was played using the same fingering but on the untuned lute, I've a feeling you would have something like the first piece you posted.
