I managed to watch a film of this Nov 2011 performance. It was
interesting to see that it was the Europa version from the early 70s
rather than the restructured 1998 one. It was great all round - for
example a pair of real ol' fashioned Hammond organs (rather than

Music by American composer, Roland Trogan (b.1933)

The little known American composer, Roland Trogan (b.1933), came out
of the University of Michigan. He studied with Ross Lee Finney, Luigi
Dallapiccola and Leslie Bassett. Trogan also worked with Roger
Sessions during his doctorate studies.
