We have applied to the CRTC for an FM licence in Ottawa. We are Christian
Hit Radio Inc., and our name says a great deal about our proposed format.
What it doesn't say is that we will go to great lengths to promote
Canadian Christian performers and composers. Your letter of support for
this application will go a long way to convince the CRTC of its merits.
Could you please e-mail me your address and phone number so that we can
send you a package explaining our vision? Then you can decide, we hope, to
endorse a Christian music station in the dominion's capital.

I have appended a summary of our business plan to give you some details of
our project now.

Many blessings,
Bob Du Broy

Executive Summary of CHRI's Business Plan

Christian Hit Radio Inc. (CHRI) is a group of committed, mature Christians
who are establishing a Christian music radio station in Ottawa. The
station will have a commercial sound and be professionally run, giving it
a solid audience. The audience will allow it to meet both its financial
and spiritual goals. Its financial goals are repayment of loans in six
years and a positive operating profit in three. Its spiritual goals are
to edify and evangelise every age group.

We are soliciting loans to cover the cost of capital equipment and
operating shortfalls in the first two years. CHRI will need $500,000 to
cover these costs. The CRTC must see written commitments from people like
you to loan CHRI the amount of its start-up costs before it will process
the licence application we filed on 27 April. If CHRI can obtain the loan
promises this summer, we may be eligible for a hearing early this fall.
About two months later, the CRTC could issue a decision and a licence. It
is a usual condition of licence to be on the air within one year. Our
implementation plan would put us on the air six months after getting the
licence, but our set-up costs would begin in January 1996. We would need
$410,000 in loans on 1 January 1996 and an additional $90,000 on 1 January
1997.

CHRI has strengthened its outlook by assembling a team of skilled business
and broadcast specialists to conceive the station and project its
financial prospects. Thorough market research and tight cost control
enhance the financial viability of the operation. Based on the results of
several market studies, CHRI's annual revenue is projected to exceed
$770,000.

Your reward as a creditor to CHRI will be twofold. You will receive
interest income: we offer an average rate of 7.5%. (We can also issue tax
receipts for donations.) More importantly, you will have contributed to a
spiritual and broadcasting renewal in Ottawa. Christian music on the radio
will change people's lives. One of those people may be someone you love.
