EW, Thanks for letting me borrow your Christifari CD. It was good and a
different way to praise God. Do you like the new CD's you got?

Do you have a different tape other than their "Reggae Worship" tape? This
to me is more worship and not enough reggae <but I like most of it>
I was hoping that thier next release they would have worked out some of
the mistakes with this CD like naming the CD by the style of music rather
than letting the music speak for itself.

My sister went to one of their concerts on April 29th and said that they
don't have anything else out yet. However, I _know_ that Mark Mohr has at
least one rather reggae-sounding song that he did about four years ago,
because I heard him sing it. This was before the group really got
together though, and there have been a lot of changes since then (I
think that only two of the members were there from the beginning), but
they are mega reggae fans (their cover is a good visual aide of how they
look in real life).
Back to anything new from them: I heard a while ago that they are going
to get something else out, but it was so long ago that my school-laden
mind has begun to rebel against me and now I may just have made up facts
drifting in between school-originated facts. Therefore (if you can wade
through this muddled response and find out what I was beginning to try to
say), I don't know if they are coming out with anything soon, but I will
be sure to let anyone know if they do (I'll have my sisters look out for
anything new).
longwindedly,
EW
I play in an Australian Christian Reggae band. Guryel Ali is the lead
singer. We play contmporary reggae as well as some amended Marley greats.
If anyone wants a copy of the cassette or CD or a demo of a couple of
songs to decide if you want to purchase it, email me!
Joel.

I got the impression that the title was something picked by the label.
I've seen some other albums on the same label (i.e. "Country Worship")
and it made me think they were kind of in a series of albums. Besides,
it's "Reggae Worship" featuring Christafari - not by Christafari.
Does anyone else think that they picked a really strange name for the band?
I just really have hesitations about it with the connections to
Rastafarianism it brings up.
