... my sister came back from a stay in Ireland with two things for me. A
tin whistle, and an LP record from a promising group. I quickly learned
to play the tunes of the latter on the former, and I became enamored
with Irish music. Le LP got forgotten when I switched to CDs in the 80s
and is gathering dust in the cellar. But this afternoon, I stumbled on
its CD version at the record store, brought it home, and the magic is back.
