Paula Morelenbaum is one of the grande dames of Brazilian music,
having started as a singer in Antonio Carlos Jobim's group Nova Banda.
From 1984 until 1994, Paula traveled the world with Jobim, and
eventually blazed her own path to success. With a Latin Grammy
nomination, numerous awards, accolades and praise, Paula continues to
amaze audiences with her gentle yet enthralling voice and powerful
music.

Oliveira, written for the unique instrumentation of guitar, percussion
and double flutes. Evocative of music of the pifano, the rustic bamboo
flute of northeastern Brazil, the sound also delves into realms of
Jazz, Samba, Maracatu, Choro, and "Cholypso." Come and enjoy a journey
through traditional Brazilian rhythms infused with Oliveira's
sophisticated harmonic concepts and sense of humor.
