Has anyone yet listened to Chick Corea's "Rendezvous in New York" ??

Sounds interesting. [Available on hybrid SACD.]

I just picked it up yesterday, and haven't had a chance to listen to
it yet. I'll have an opinion in a few days. By the way, it's not just
"available" on hybrid SACD, that's the *only* way it's available. Of
course, since it's a hybrid, it will also play on regular CD players.

It comes with a little card you can mail in for information on the
"entire 9-show collection", which will be available as a limited
edition in the near future (the current release is a 2-CD selection).
I wonder how many CDs this will be, since the booklet claims that they
recorded "almost 60 hours" of material!

Yup. And less than $20 at http://www.amusicdirect.com

TWO versions of "Concierto de Aranjuez." Sounds like it is worth a gamble.

Hmmm...I wish I had more info about the "9-show collection." How much
fluff is included in the "almost 60 hours" of material, I wonder?
