Also, was there a big uproar when they named their album "Ass"?
Bassist Tom Evans and guitarists Pete Ham and Joey Molland each sang lead
parts on various Badfinger songs.
Tom Evans sang on their first real hit, "Come And Get It" (written by Paul
McCartney).
Probably the most recognizable Badfinger voice (and the best IMHO) is Pete
Ham, who sang lead on "Come And Get It", "Baby Blue", and "Day After Day".
I don't recall any controversy when "Ass" was released (that doesn't mean
there wasn't one, I just don't pay attention to such things).
OOPS ...typo in the above. Pete sang on "No Matter What". I accidentally
repeated "Come And Get It", sang by Tom.
Pete Ham didn't sing lead vocal on "Come and get it." I think that was
either Tom Evans or Joey. I think it was Joey.
It was Tom. I corrected this in a later post.
Was Joey even in the group then? I thought Ron Griffiths was still in the
group when it was recorded.

Actually Joey hadn't joined the band when Come And Get It was recorded. Not
sure if Ron Griffiths had already left (or been fired, I can't remember).
But Tom Evans sings it.
