I know you're a long-time listener, which is why it's hard to believe
you hear something that I know isn't there. There's no slide guitar in
that song, and the bit you hear is the same solo that's mixed high on
the album.

I synced the two versions up here - the album version is in the left
channel, the single is in the right. You can hear the same solo in both
channels, just mixed very low on the single.
