WHEN is the stupid thing coming out?! I thought today was the release date
(may 21), but six record stores don't have it, and they all give me different
dates as to when they will. AARRGGH! Any help would be most appreciated.

It's been pushed back 2 more weeks. The current release date is June 4.

The McCartney "Unplugged (The Official Bootleg)" CD and cassette
(no vinyl) was released in Canada over a week ago.

It includes 17 songs and most between song chatter. I just received my
copy of the video broadcast yesterday, so I wasn't sure about the
differences between the MTV show and the released disc.

In addition to the songs shown on MTV, the CD includes:

San Francisco Bay Blues
Hi Heel Sneakers
Ain't No Sunshine (Hamish Stuart, vocals)

Total time: 58:32, Parlophone/EMI/MPL label, C2 96413

The front cover is a takeoff on the "Soviet" :-) album, with a green
acoustic guitar body instead of a red star and the image flipped
showing Paul and his southpaw acoustic.

I suppose we got it here in Canada early since we never had a chance
to see the video performance. I wonder if there are any plans for
home video release?

I recommend the package to anyone that likes the "lighter" side
of Paul's work.
