Any idea who's vocal is on the "check the album" and "f*ck a pig"
inserts?

Just wondering if a hardcore out there has already done anything with
these.

The trick was very clever, I thought, with the diff messages on the 45
and the album...

Wasn't that John's voice sped up or with some special effect on it?
Just guessing . . . .

I always assumed it was John, too. Who else would it be?

So Yoko inspired the message, "F*ck a pig"?

OK, then let me ask you an equally "innocuous" question. Do you wear a
dress when you're posting to RMB?

So now this "ban" that seems to be imposed on me and only on me
applies even if someone else brings up Yoko? How far does this go,
RichL?

MC Hammered said the "doll voices" in the song were inspired by Yoko.
He brought it up.

On one version of the song "Meat City" the voice (I think it's Lennon)
says "Check the record." And on the other record the voice says,
"F*ck a pig." That's what it says.

So I'm asking him if he claims Yoko inspired those statements.

Please explain to me

1. Why it's "not nice."

2. Why it's "not nice" only for me.

What "ban"? I'm expressing an opinion.

If someone in this newsgroup suggested that YOU reminded them of fucking
pigs, I'd speak up. That should answer both questions.

Don't be so disingenuous.

Why are you getting excited at only me and not MC Hammered? He

Oh, please. Next time, deflect responsibility for your comments to
"Bobo the Stuttering Squirrel". He says f-f-ffunny things, t-t-ttoo.

Do you really want to be regarded in the same way as MC? C'mon, the guy
is a spoof. If he wanted to be regarded as a serious person, then he'd
be worthy of commenting upon.

Don't be ridiculous.

Actually I was thinking of Bobo. I thought his name was originally
Boboawitz. He should have kept it as Boboawitz.

I was joking around, Jeff, about Bobo.

Please explain why you think Yoko inspired a phrase such as "fuck a
pig" (pardon the vulgarity). And in what way is this a flattering
attribute to her?

Bet it gets you upset each time Elmer Fudd is trying to find that
"pesky wabbit". GEICO even has a new commercial featuring Elmer. :)

Now (he asked naively), why would you revive *this* particular month-
old post from our resident cartoon character - out of the thousands
you might have chosen - as a springboard for stimulating interesting
"discussion"? Thanks in advance for the flurry of thoughtful posts

Hey I have been inspired by the recent flurry of GEICO
commercials. :) Nah, I'm joking. Any threads lately discussing
cavemen and how easy it is to do certain things? :)

Nope, but it has a weird offbeat Lennon rhythm with shreddy double or
triple stops and it's bluesy outside the box. And the start is as
jarring as the end of "I Want You".

The off putting thing for me is those overplayed solo fills doing the
9th, which, during his stint w EM, were already trademark tiring.

The part coming off the verse into the chorus breaks the flow - the
funky backwards thing was working for me after verse two - maybe that
one measure flipped forwards again and edited back in (of course
deleting the doll bit and the "yeah!" coming out of verse three) would
work better.
