Subject: "Missing" versus "You're Missing"
I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but what is everyone's take on
the relationship between these 2 songs?  Is You're Missing a re-write of
Missing?  The music certainly is quite different, but the idea that the
lyrics present are obviously similar.  I feel like You're Missing is
ultimately the better song though, as I think it is less generic (which
doesn't always help things, but does this time) and more heart breaking.

Also, was Missing written specifically for The Crossing Guard, or was it
one of Bruce's leftovers that he gave the filmmakers?  Good film by the
way.

missing was writtren for the movie;
bruce and sean penn are somewhat tight.
