This is political suicide for them, the majority of America doesn't support or read Daily Kos... they are a hateful far left website. Even the majority of left wingers will be turned off by this. Unless they change their minds about this, this is going to hurt them long term I would think. Can you say President Rudy ?

Aren't you the same guy who said Steven Colbert had committed career suicide after the White House Press dinner last year, right before his show and public speaking schedule went through the roof and he was named on of the top ten people of the year?

Colbert is not running for President. He is a comedian. His fans are his fans, if they had to vote for him for President, most of them would vote for the other guy.

Like I didn't know that was coming Mr. Predictablity.

Incidenatlly, you do realize what a moron it makes you look like when you so pointedly use Hussein with Obama, as though the name, fairly common as I understand it, makes him evil? Are you a child?
Patrick, you are a man of no integrity or morals. By using Barak Obama's middle name instead of his first name to try to associate him with Saddam Hussein, you are using the tactics of the immature, hate filled right wing loons to try to discredit a man based on a false premise. You are the problem with politics... people whose aim is to scapegoat opponents with falsehoods. I now see you are a putrid loser.
And if you think Rudy Guliani is going to be president, you are a stupid putrid loser.

A hobbit football player as president? With all due respect, Patrick, there's almost as good a chance of a _Republican_ winning the election.

Why does it make him evil ? If you think it makes him evil, why would you think of voting for him ? I personally wouldn't vote for someone with the middle name Hussein and the last name one letter away from Osama, but maybe 9/11 sticks in my head a little more than it does you.

You mean like the hate filled left wing loons that tried to descredit Bush based on a DUI 30 years ago, when it was barely a crime... or the loons who try to discredit Giuliani based on his divorce with nobody knows the details of what happened, or the loons who tried to say Reagan was losing his mind when he was President when there was no evidence he was, or the loons who destroyed Dan Quayle as stupid when they knew nothing about him ?

At least Obama uses his real first name, which is Barack.
But of course, Willard Romney would sound kind of silly.

It's funny how all the folks that spent the last decade screaming about Democrats being baby-killers just whistle and look the other way with Rudy.
Funny--but not at all surprising.
It would be interesting to see who our next First Lady would be should Rudy be elected, though. I am sure he will be on to wife 7 or 8 by the time the election rolls around...

Yeah, but it's still better than Wuss Bush or (I'm not making this one up) Bruce Cheney.

Clinton didn't even have a wife when he was President. He had a partner in crime as first lady.
He did a pretty good job too. Daily Kos is nothing more than a lying evil smear website.... for politicians who want to be thought of as legitimate to acknowledge them will be one of the biggest political blunders of all time.

Wow. Every time we think you've hit the pinnacle, you keep topping yourself in stupidity.

WHY DOES ANYONE RESPOND TO THIS CRAP? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?
You're like cats and string.
As Howard Wolfson said to O'Reilly the other day, the days when O'Reilly can dictate the positions and schedules of Democrats is over. It ended when the American death toll in Iraq passed the death toll on 9/11, when the citizens of New Orleans were abandoned, when America gave Congress to the Democrats in 2006.
Stop playing defense, ignore this stuff, and it will go away.
Focus on the most important issues recognized by 2/3 of America: affordable health care, a clean environment, jobs here and not overseas, and getting our soldiers out of the civil war in Iraq.
Only eighteen months left of a Republican presidency - every one of them lame duck...

Is there anyone left who wonders why right-of-center folks treat Patrick like a leper? Dumber than ditch carp, he is.

That's funny, because that's a pretty good description of THE O'REALLY FACTOR (a lying evil smear merchant) and the politicians who appear on it.

How much you wanna bet it has no effect on them at all.
Do you think the .08% of Americans that watch O'Reilly are going to vote Democrat anyway?
<< How much you wanna bet it has no effect on them at all. >>
No tom, I'm afraid Patrick's right here. It will destroy them, they'll be off hte internet by the end of the week and anyone who ever even hit their site will have theri careers destroyed are damaged beyond repair..
Pat's rarely wrong on these predictions, you see...such a remarkable and empathateic barometer of the AMerican Society is he.
Let me illustrate with a little-remember tale. A couple years ago, there was this spunky, up and coming political satirist with a fresh new show on Comedy Central, in which he play a satirical version of a political pundit, and prceeded to cleverly poked fun at everyone in politics. The critics loved him, and he had a growing fan base spanning many demographics, but very high particularly among college students and post grad students, and young profesionals.
So things are humming along nicely, when the guy was asked to perform at the white house press dinner. APpparenlty the Whitehouse took his "faux pundit harater as the real thing. Anyway, he performed, and he stuck to his guns anddid his normal routine, which included the fatal mistake of actually making fun of the Bush administration while standing four feet from Bush himself on the dais.
Patrick predicted correctly that this man had just committed career sudicde, and it was true. To this day, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who even remember the name of Steven Colbert or his long dead TV show, the Colbert Report. I"m sure he's suffering in poverty and obscurity somewhere, as are anyone who was associated with him. His Producer, (remembe JOhn Stewart of THE DAILY SHOW) has also pretty vbanished from public consciousness and had his show cancelled as well, no doubt becuase of his freidnship with Colbert and and professional support fo the Colbert Report.
This is a cautionary tale, my friend. I'm certain the terrible slump in my own and my wife's career, as well as the devastating dip in our family's over financial health, is directly realted to the fact that we watched both Stewart and Colbert on occassion..and yes, we enjoyed it when we did. How foolish we were!
It's actually remarkable that Comedy Centreal has weathered the storm and is still on the air as a network..I suspect they too will be dragged down by the Colbert/Stewart anchor, by and by.
