Global warming debunked: NASA report verifies carbon dioxide actually
cools atmosphere

Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/040448_solar_radiation_global_warming_debunked.html#ixzz2U3QF6h8Y

Practically everything you have been told by the mainstream scientific
community and the media about the alleged detriments of greenhouse
gases, and particularly carbon dioxide, appears to be false, according
to new data compiled by NASA's Langley Research Center. As it turns
out, all those atmospheric greenhouse gases that Al Gore and all the
other global warming hoaxers have long claimed are overheating and
destroying our planet are actually cooling it, based on the latest
evidence.

As reported by Principia Scientific International (PSI), Martin
Mlynczak and his colleagues over at NASA tracked infrared emissions
from the earth's upper atmosphere during and following a recent solar
storm that took place between March 8-10. What they found was that the
vast majority of energy released from the sun during this immense
coronal mass ejection (CME) was reflected back up into space rather
than deposited into earth's lower atmosphere.

The result was an overall cooling effect that completely contradicts
claims made by NASA's own climatology division that greenhouse gases
are a cause of global warming. As illustrated by data collected using
Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry
(SABER), both carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), which are
abundant in the earth's upper atmosphere, greenhouse gases reflect
heating energy rather than absorb it.

"Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats," says James
Russell from Hampton University, who was one of the lead investigators
for the groundbreaking SABER study. "When the upper atmosphere (or
'thermosphere') heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to
shed that heat back into space."

Almost all 'heating' radiation generated by sun is blocked from
entering lower atmosphere by CO2

According to the data, up to 95 percent of solar radiation is
literally bounced back into space by both CO2 and NO in the upper
atmosphere. Without these necessary elements, in other words, the
earth would be capable of absorbing potentially devastating amounts of
solar energy that would truly melt the polar ice caps and destroy the
planet.

"The shock revelation starkly contradicts the core proposition of the
so-called greenhouse gas theory which claims that more CO2 means more
warming for our planet," write H. Schreuder and J. O'Sullivan for PSI.
"[T]his compelling new NASA data disproves that notion and is a huge
embarrassment for NASA's chief climatologist, Dr. James Hansen and his
team over at NASA's GISS."

Dr. Hansen, of course, is an outspoken global warming activist who
helped spark man-made climate change hysteria in the U.S. back in
1988. Just after the release of the new SABER study, however, Dr.
Hansen conveniently retired from his career as a climatologist at
NASA, and reportedly now plans to spend his time "on science," and on
"drawing attention to [its] implications for young people."

No, but I would ask why he'd allow all the death & destruction,

Well according to God, he has already flooded the world once and
according to God, worse things and worse weather is to come. Enjoy it

Well, if the evidence was there, I might throw in with your claims,
I mean everybody wants a happy-ending right? But when the bible makes
claims about the world, or its history, then we can test those claims,
& unfortunately the claims are false.

> IMO, one who has faith will have their faith tested. Those who are

Sure enough I hear you. But what about folks that have been tested,
stood by their stories even when they went against religious ideas?
Shouldn't they be rewarded? Galileo proclaimed the earth revolved
around the sun <not the sun around the earth> & was considered a
heretic by those who believed in christian-judeio mythology, it all
started over these two verses:

Psalm 104:5: 'the Lord set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved'

Ecclesiastes 1:5: 'the sun rises and sets and returns to its place'

So, if the bible is the word of god, then god got it wrong...

Depends on how you interpret that. Both could have been metaphors
that some misinterpreted. The Bible was written by man, not God, and
I'm sure mankind has gotten many things wrong.

If the bible is the word of "god", there should be no need to debate
how it's interpreted.

'the sun rises and sets and returns to its place'

Seems quite certain to me.

Wait, Professor...according to god, as written in the bible, a book
you admit was written by men and which is flawed? Or are you
suggesting that god is on your cell phone contact list (beneath Chaim,
of course, we all know who you *really* worship) and that he told you
himself?

And do you actually believe that noah's ark bullshit? Oh, please admit
that you do. It would confirm sooooo much.

Romans were polytheists, and you are really fucking dumb.

Aren't all non fiction books that way? Since this is a KISS NG let's
use Gene Simmons' bio book as an example. I think everyone here would
probably agree that many of the things in his book were over
exaggerated, hyped up, or just coming from his personal viewpoint
where he may have actually forgotten some details of the stories he
was writing about. One thing I can say and have researched, there's
usually a lot of truth in most folklore. Now let's use Ace's bio book
as an example. Ace admits he had forgotten most of the stories in his
own book and had to track down many of his friends to retell them to
him. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is, maybe some of the
Bible is made up by man and some of it may not be. With what we
know today about the digestive system and stomach acids, it's hard to
believe that Jonah spent three days and three nights in a whale's
stomach and survived. For all we know, this story may be true and
the whale/fish word may have been used as a metaphor and not have
actually been a whale/fish at all.

Plus, one has to take into consideration how many times the Bible has
been translated over and over so many times throughout history and
what man may have left out or put in for personal reasons or for the
agendas of their time.

Interesting fact...

The earliest new testament gospel dates to the 2nd century after Christ
& is only an incomplete fragment the size of a business card. Now bear
in mind, that's 200 years after the events it describes. The earliest
*complete* copy of the new testament <the copy our bibles are based on>
dates to the 4th century after Christ. That's in excess of 400 years after
the events it describes. In either case its authors were not eyewitnesses.

Well, its been my experience that there's allot AJ & I do not
agree with one real big exception - we've *agreed* to
disagree, same with 83. I lob punches at them both all
the time & they do as well back at me <for instance look

The 'trick' is really simple IMO, argue against the point
& not the person. Here's an example <guys just roll with me here>

good...

83: 'Mike, you're full of crap, you darn well & good
everybody drinks 7up.'

Me: '83, it obvious you've not done your homework
because plainly, a google search will show that
Sprite is the number one choice.'

See, we took some good-natured jabs above but not too personal.

bad...

Me: '83 you're such a fuckwad, bite my ass cuz I'm right you libtard'

83: 'Mike, once again you've failed to use your only brain cell, now
fuck off & this time use some soap cuz you smell like wombat pussy.'

Since the above contains personnel remarks, that will get anyone up in arms,
rebut the point NOT the person. Shit steve, you guys have been buddies
for years...
