With BH taking a sabbatical from touring this year, I've had time and
some spare cash to catch a couple of concerts in place of the three or
four Bruce shows I've averaged every year for the last decade or so.
Two of the best were Bela Fleck (acoustic) and Susan Tedeschi (with
her amazing band), but the expensive one is coming up: Simon &
Garfunkel with their special "cameo appearance" guests, the Everly
Brothers.

In anticipating that concert I recently checked out the Art Garfunkel
site and was pleasantly surprised to see "The Way It Is" turn up at
number 37 on Art's all-time top 60 song list. It is an interesting
batch of tunes, with everything from Hendrix to the Carpenters
represented.
