actually, posting the response letter written by suzanne vega regarding
that rumour would be much more appropriate. she adamantly denies the
song being written about her....but then again, wouldn't you? i've also
heard that the song was written about lisa loeb, how she was a classy
little folk-ditty-singer, and then rode the "stay" fame to typical
celebrity. the song could be applied to a lot of different people, but
what does it matter? who cares.
