There's a short article at
http://www.countrycool.com/musicnews/1000/mn_1003b.html
about The Music Row Golf Tournament, and it says that Vince was
presented with an oil painting of him and Amy for his commitment to the
charity. Along with the article is a small picture of the painting, a
picture of Vince taken to promote the CMA's and several videoclips. I
don't know what's on the videoclips, but thought everyone on here would
be interested in seeing the painting, if nothing else. BTW, if you
click on the small picture, another window will open and a slightly
bigger picture will download.

Amy has that sparkle in her eyes and I like the calico print like a
dress she would wear. But Vince looks like the guy on Baywatch. If
you put that in front of me and said, "Whose this?" I'd say, "David
Hasselhoff?"

Just my .02.

Sue,

I'm watching the video now, and there's a close up of the painting shown
after Vince is presented with it. Right now, with the net congestion, the
video is actually "stuck" on the picture until the connection finishes
buffering again. *L*

Sue,

Right after I posted my last message, my connection stopped buffering, and
Amy's in the videoclip, also...practically right after the close up of the
painting.

That was really rude and uncalled for. Who are you trying to be, Amy
Kelly?

I don't think Vince looks like himself either. Amy definitely does...

I know, I watched to video. Vince looks truly happy to be receiving this
painting.

Yea, I saw that, she's wearing red shorts, right? She didn't say
anything though. I was disappointed with that.

I didn't think the painting was too good. Amy looked ok, but it definitely
didn't look much like Vince.

My father is a good artist. He did a cariactiture of Amy and Gary, and my
sister gave it to Amy at the Christmas reception in 96. Little did we know

that Vince was more important to Amy than Gary was then. I suppose she didn't
think to much of that gift. She probably tossed it in the garbage. Oh well!

We still have a copy of it though.

Well, she was probably relieved it wasn't Vince and she.

Just kidding Chris....

hmm... so if anyone comes up to any of us now, and says "Amy Grant? She's
no oil painting..." we'll have a good defense :-)
