Just what is the track used as the soundtrack to this ad? It't the ad
shot in black and white, looks like 20's/30's US, with a hilbilly type
woman buying something for the weekend from the locak store.
I've got to know what it is - I have to get it. It's driving me nuts!
The power of advertising, eh? Still - I've not rushed out and bought a
pait of Levis yet.......
Cheers

It's actually "70 billion people of earth." It's from the 'Outer Limits'
episode 'Demon with a Glass Hand,' starring Robert Culp, written by Harlan
Ellison. Anybody know where the long sample in "Low Cool" comes from?
Some people have expressed surprise at my 10-15 year interest in the
ambient scene, implying that I'm too old at 35. Well, I think the music
is pop-tastically groovy, dudes. Not arf.

Nb. Microgravity was Biosphere's debut album. Patashnik is the followup.
Well I'm thirty this year and most of my friends, into such things as Simple
Minds or at the most Nirvana, fall about laughing if I tell them I went to an
Orb concert!
Just exactly how old can you be and not be looked at askance for listening to
this stuff?
Toby

Uh oh. I was at the Orb concert a few nights ago and I'm almost ..
'39'! I may have redeemed myself though :-)
as I saw the Crimson King last night and I noticed many folks my age
there. Good music knows no age boundaries.

Here, here! I've been listening to this stuff for at least 10 years as
well, and this alarming trend...
