A Cappella track at Berklee Vocal Summit, featuring Overboard

Hi, I'm David Thorne Scott, member of Syncopation (Boston Harmony Sweepstakes winner 2008), and director of Vocal Summit, a four-day camp for contemporary vocal music at Berklee College of Music. If you live for A Cappella, please check out Berklee's Vocal Summit, June 24-27, 2013.
A Cappella track participants spend the morning singing in large and small a cappella groups under the expert guidance of guest artists Overboard. In the afternoons, they enjoy all the offerings of Vocal Summit including workshops on recording techniques, microphone/PA technology, jazz improvisation, pop/R&B improvisation, songwriting, auditioning, and a cappella arranging. Evenings are for recitals by Berklee faculty and our guest artists. This year’s guest artist is Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter and producer Paula Cole.
Overboard is an a cappella group who has caught the attention of everyone from American Idol to The CBS Early Show. Comprised of singers whose accolades range from NBC's hit show "The Sing-Off" to FOX phenomenon "Glee," Overboard shares its tight harmonies, emotional performances and engaging workshops with singers and enthusiasts throughout the US and Europe.
5 style tracks are available: pop/rock/country, R&B, jazz, musical theater, or a cappella.
