Our fans can expect contemporary favorites both new and old, along
with holiday favorites.

University of Michigan’s “Gimble” A Cappella will join us at our
Ferndale show. Formed in 1997, Gimble brings an eclectic repertoire of
songs including both familiar favorites and new favorites to the U of
M campus. Combining the distinct musical personalities of each member,
Gimble blends an alluring mix of pop, rock, indie, country, big band,
Disney and even musicals to create a unique and passionate sound.
Gimble is going strong in its 12th year together as a group with a few
fresh faces and a continued zest for a cappella music. [www.umich.edu/

Our Mt. Clemens show will feature CounterPointe from Grosse Pointe
North High School. In their debut year, this mixed group of 16 is
already fast on their way to making a name for themselves in the High
School A Cappella community, as they will be participating in the
International Championship of High School A Cappella tournament this
coming March.

Two Weeks Notice is a mixed, professional-level contemporary a
cappella group based in Metro Detroit offering high-energy rock-band-
style performance of popular music using only the human voice. Formed
in 2007 as an inaugural chapter of the Contemporary A Cappella
Society’s Contemporary A Cappella League, Two Weeks Notice features
alumni from several collegiate groups such as Central Michigan
University’s “On the Rox”, No U-Turn at Eastern Michigan University,
Case Western Reserve University’s Solstice, and the University of
Michigan’s Dicks & Janes and Gimble. [www.twoweeksnotice.net]
