MAYBE...better to get a second set, rebuild them. Pull your carbs and
rebuild them ALSO. 8^) I'd suggest this guy for the best rebuild kit.
He will also have a better answer on 1100 carbs on the GL1000.
How do I know? I ride a stone stock 1979 GL1000 survivor with the only
aftermarket parts being the Dyna 2 ignition (I'm too lazy to relearn
adjusting points) What amazes me is that as best I can tell the carbs
have never ever been off adn they don't need to come off. Might be
upgrading the brake system starting at the master cylender.
