I was a little suspicious of anyone posting their phone number on
Usenet so I gave it a try. The phone number is, surprisingly, legit.
I texted back and forth with the guy and gave him some suggestions
about how to find the parts he needs.

Interesting. The gentleman is apparently inexperienced about how to
find parts for older bikes using the Internet.

I wonder if search spiders will catch his phone number and he'll be
getting lots of calls from aluminum siding salesmen and scammers.
