Soon, my post disappeared so I reposted it. This happened about 4 times.
Then I found out that, Fernando, the moderator, had deemed the picture
pornographic and was deleting it. I hadn't known this so I kept putting it
back. Fernando became outraged that I would challenge his authority and
complained to David Baker. All this time I still didn't know that my picture
was intentionally being deleted. I didn't know until David sent me an e-mail
that I was on thin ice at BMWRT.com. I petitioned David regarding the
content and he stated that it was his site and if I didn't like his rule
that I could leave. At this, I lobbied the group, asking them if they found
the picture objectionable. David was furious that I had challenged his
absolute authority and banned me. Being outraged myself, I posted the
incident to reeky. It was here that I was directed to
http://www.advrider.com/ . I found out that I wasn't the only one who had
problems with David and Fernando. In fact they call BMWRT.com "Mr Rogers
Neighborhood", due to the extreme censorship there. Later, I found that
David was not only arrogant but reckless as well. There was much conterversy
about his dangerious riding behavior at the 2001 Gunnison Rally. This was
discussed at Adventure Riders as posts critizing David were were being
deleted at BMWRT.com.
